Sweep, the enterprise sustainability intelligence platform, today announced the integration of Mérieux NutriSciences | Blonk’s Agri-footprint 7.0 FLAG database into its Factors Library.
The premium emission factor source is designed for companies in the food, agriculture and other land-intensive sectors. It supports SBTi FLAG target-setting, emissions monitoring and sustainability reporting. The database covers more than 4,800 datasets across 63+ countries.
Agri-footprint FLAG applies linear amortization to land-use-change emissions over the previous 20 years, and follows the EF3.1 standard for consistency. It splits emissions into granular subcategories aligned with SBTi FLAG requirements, giving producers actionable visibility into specific land-use change, land-management, and non-FLAG drivers to target reductions.. Within Sweep, this data is turned into FLAG, non-FLAG, and total emission factors, using two different methods for allocating emissions (a climate change approach and an economic approach), with breakdowns by individual greenhouse gas where available.
This enables sustainability teams to connect agricultural and product-level data with corporate footprint calculations, procurement analysis, target trajectories and reporting workflows, while reducing the need for manual emissions disaggregation.
