Sweep is proud to announce that our B Corp certification has been re-confirmed.
B Corp certified companies must commit to high standards with regard to five Impact Pillars: Environment, Customers, Governance, Workers and Community.
Following a rigorous assessment and re-verification of Sweep’s practices, we have been awarded a B Impact Assessment score of 107, an increase of over 20 points from our initial certification score of 84.
To qualify for B Corp certification, a company must obtain a score of at least 80, while the median score for all companies is 50.9.
Sweep’s status as both a B Corp, and a French “Société à Mission” are important components of the transparency pillar of our Corporate Social Responsibility program.
Sweep’s co-founder and CEO Rachel Delacour says:
“Our B Corp recertification reinforces Sweep’s deep commitment to not only meeting B Lab’s rigorous standards, but to continually advancing our performance across a broad range of environmental, social, and governance criteria.
Improving our B Corp score during a time of significant growth in our business and operations proves that sustainability and commercial success can — and must — go hand in hand.”
