Sweep, Europe’s leading carbon and ESG platform, is a finalist for The Next Unicorn Awards, which recognizes European fast-growing tech companies with the potential to hit a valuation of $1B in the coming years.

Sweep is in the running for The Next Unicorn Awardss at VivaTech 2023, one of Europe’s biggest startup events. Co-led by investment bank GP Bullhound, The Next Unicorn Awards aim to promote the growth of the European tech ecosystem and put a spotlight on Europe’s most promising innovations.

Rachel Delacour, Sweep CEO and Cofounder said: "This award recognizes our commitment to supporting companies in their environmental transformation. To continue to create value, a shift to a low-carbon business model today is essential. This is where Sweep takes its place as a technological ally for meeting extra-financial reporting requirements, climate, and business ambitions.

Launched in 2020, Sweep is one of the youngest tech companies in this year's "Top 100 Next Unicorns," a list of the 100 most promising scaleups in Europe. Other winners include Pennylane, Wallapop, and Matsmart. With the contributions of leading VC funds (Accel, Balderton, Eurazeo, Northzone, and Partech), the selection criteria include business and employee growth, funding raised, valuation, and impact.

This recognition comes a few weeks after Sweep launched Sweep for Supply Chain, its latest solution to help companies collect, measure, and report carbon emissions with suppliers.
